We do not use the information for any other purpose, and we do not use it for marketing sends or advertising.
A submitted inquiry is validated on the server and then forwarded to our inbox by email. It is not written to any database, file store, or other persistence layer.
Once forwarding completes, the data used during processing is discarded from memory. If delivery fails, the inquiry is still not retained anywhere.
Server logs record only success or failure, an error code, and a non-identifying request id. Email addresses, phone numbers, contact names, and message bodies are never logged.
Retention period for the forwarded inquiry email: Until the inquiry has been handled. The message is held only in the operator’s mailbox — never in a database or file store — and is destroyed without delay once that purpose is met.
Where a statutory obligation requires a record to be kept, it is retained for the period that law prescribes and then destroyed.
We do not disclose collected personal information to third parties. Where disclosure is legally required, we follow the relevant statutory process.
An email service is used to deliver the inquiry, and a hosting service is used to serve this website. Both are used solely for delivery and site provision; neither is used to analyse inquiry content or repurpose it.
This website runs no visitor-behaviour analytics and no advertising trackers. There is no session recording and no third-party behavioural analysis.
For ordinary visitors, browser local storage holds only the selected language and accessibility preference. Neither value is used to identify an individual.
This site sets no cookies and uses no cookie consent banner.
Only when an operator with technical blog authoring access signs in does the browser also store an authentication session, which is kept until they sign out. That feature is for operators only; visitors have no sign-up or sign-in process.
Operator accounts exist so that the technical blog can be written. Visitors cannot create one, and the site provides no sign-up process.
For an operator account we store an email address, the account identifier generated by the authentication service, and a role value. Passwords are held by the authentication service; this site neither stores nor reads them.
That information is used only to check authoring permission, and is kept until the account is deleted. It is separate from inquiry data, and inquiry content is not stored in any database.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. Requests are accepted through the contact channel below and handled without undue delay.
